Hi zip316. You can uninstall any software listed in Programs and Features if you dont use it but why? Are you running short of disk space.

From what you say, I can understand why you might like to uninstall Windows Live Mail but software like Microsoft Office XP Professional with Frontpage is not cheap and you may have applications that depend on Net Framework for support. Have you researched what your programs actually do? If not, I think it would be a good idea for you to do so. A google search should do the trick.

Thanks for your reply, I have 168 Gb`s of free space ,that’s not the problem. I keep getting these notifications to install updates for Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage if I don’t install it they keep popping up on the taskbar.

I like Yahoo as my default email and I have a program that makes it the default. It seems windows live mail overrides Yahoo though. So can I delete windows live mail with no problem?

Why not just install them.

Sure, you can uninstall all the Windows Live software if you dont use it so long as you uninstall from Programs and Features. Reboot afterwards.

Yes they will if you uninstall them. Once installed, just leave them alone and you should be fine.
