try doing a system restore to a restore point prior to when the problem started.

need clarification, did you do a system restore or did you do a system restore to a restore point???? also is it wire or wireless connection? did you do a power cycle on your router and modem? if not, give that a try, unplug both. plug in the modem, wait for it to reset, then plug in the router. pull the plug, do not use the power button.

you need to check your computers manufacturers website, search for your specific computer model and see if they have win10 drivers for your computer

1. Run sfc to check system files;

Need to open a command line with administrative privileges
  • Start Menu>All Programs>Accessories
  • Right click on Command Prompt
  • Click Run As Administrator

Once the window opens, type in the following;

sfc /scannow (hit<enter>)

Can take awhile

Once that is done, reboot and hopefully does not take forever.

Then do this:

Download Malwarebytes here:
https://downloads.tomsguide.com/Malw...301-25757.html

Install and run it, (Note When installing watch the screen do not install anything else except Malwarebytes. When you open it, may say free trial, just ignore it.

Once the scan is done let it fix whatever it finds. Now reboot again

List the Make and Model of your computer and we can check on Windows 10 compatibility for you.
