You're right I answered Murf in what I see now, is a half hearted way,I shouldn't have done . I have just rectified that . He previously steered me through all the upgrading which wasn't for me ,straightforward that's why I assumed too much.

Start > Settings>
Click on Update & Security Click on Recovery Click on RESET THIS PC This will basically reinstall Win 10 and keep your files and folders, however, you will have to re-install any programs that you installed after the upgrade. |

Just done that Murf, It lasted longer than usual before I had to re enter the password again. It went about an hour before shutting down ,which is a lot longer. How do I check if it is timed to shutdown after a period of time? ,in case it is caused by that happening. On resetting I selected delete all settings and files.

If it ran for an hour then just shutdown by itself, then you could have a heat problem. When it shut down did you get an error message at all?

No I didn't see a message as I was away from the pc.I went the Hardware &Sound and saw the pc was closing down after 10mins ,which makes think hopefully that your remedy of Resetting this pc has worked ,seems to have done so far.

It was set for automatic shut down which I discovered by going to Control Panel, Hardware and Sound which showed me it was set for automatic shut down. This is entirely different to the shutdown caused by the message Critical _ Structure_Corruption.Your solution has cured that problem Thanks a million.
