Windows 7 Monitor Problem
I have looked all over the net and can't find an answer to this:
I have upgraded from windows Vista ultimate to windows 7 ultimate. The installation went fine. My pc is connected to my main monitor which is a Sony HDTV via the VGA connection. My graphics card is ATI HD2400 and the drivers are Vista/windows 7 and upto date. I right click on my desktop choose screen resolution then detect, it detects my Sony tv and sets the correct resolution I apply and click OK. Not every time, but, on booting my computer to the desktop windows 7 reverts back to the generic pnp monitor, why???? I then have to repeat the above steps for the correct resolution. This didn't happen in Vista. Anyone come across this?? Thanks in advance. |

are you using the drivers that came with win7 for your graphics card or did you download from the graphic card or computer (if came with computer) manufacturer?
