trouble xp boot up

hi can u give some advice,coz im having trouble with my xp operating system. my pc was crashed so i have to install it again, after setup it stock on boot up, i checke the bios, cmos everything is fine until bootup and every time the xp logo microsoft windows xp professional appears then it hangs,nothing happens. can u give some advice regarding this problem.

What kind of computer do you have?
Is it OEM XP or a store bought recovery style computer.

If it is OEM, put it the disk back in and reboot. Delete all partitions and create new ones. This will allow for a complete fresh start. Format the partition, then start the installation again. If you need more detailed instructions just let me know.

well im using intelceleron, p3 processor. i made it twice but it doesnt work, things get worst in my third attempt to format because it stock on setup i have to reboot my pc to start over again. how can i solve this trouble pls this is urgent i cant use my pc anymore.

Can you give me some more system specs. How much memory, video etc. How old the system is.

i have P III processor, 128 ram, 64 mb video, and 20 gb hardrive, my os as far as i can remeber its 2 months after is set it up and had a trouble. thanks for helping me out, i hope this information helps a lot.
