"Multimedia Audio Controller" problem after audio Card installation

Home built system:

WinXp 2nd Edition
Athlon 3000+ 2.16 Ghz
1Gb RAM
Radeon 9600 Graphics
Turtle Beach; Santa Cruz Audio

Hello again,

I've always used the integrated audio card in my PC untill I installed a new sound card a few days ago.

I went from a "SoundMax onboard Audio" to a "Turtle Beach; Santa Cruz" card. The system recognized the new card and reported a successful driver installation for it. The installation of the software and drivers seemed to go smooth untill the end when I recieved a popup warning that new hardware "Multimedia Audio Controller" was found and Windows was attempting to find drivers for it.
It was unable and seemed unwilling to find any drivers so I cancled and restarted the PC.

My new sound card seems to be functioning very well.
After installing my new software & drivers,
I uninstalled or disabled all the old Soundmax drivers and programs to eliminate conflicts.
I've also disabled the "Standard Game Port" because it now lists a
"Santa Cruz(tm) Game Port"

But there's a problem, when I look in my Device Manager, I see that little yellow exclamation point next to the Multimedia Audio Controller icon.

The controller info:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
Controller location is "PCI bus 0, device 17, function 5"

Is this left over from my old integrated card and should be disabled?

What's my next step?

I've disabled it after installing the Turtle Beach game port.
What do you think of the Santa cruz card?
