Unhappy Major DSO Exploit Problem

Last Friday, I received a virus through a self-installing file via a pop-up. My antivirus program at the time--Dr. Web--caught it immediately, and I removed it. Unfortunately, this messed up several files on my computer that I used regularly. It ended up in my best interest to do a System Restore, which was fine, because I needed to seriously clean out my computer.

Everything has worked well since then except for five spyware files (no virus, because I've already checked with AVG) that keep invading my computer. Spybot catches them, but I keep getting them again, over and over. It's causing my computer to freeze frequently, which is seriously harming my chances of reinstalling and tidying up all my backup files from my computer before my System Restoration.

The only time I'm not getting these DSO Exploit spyware files is when I'm not running the internet and Internet Explorer (and yes, I have installed ALL of the security updates from Windows Update). I plan to try to use Mozilla Firefox later on, but for now, I have to work through Internet Explorer while I get all of my files and such settled.

At the time of my writing this, I have removed (for the hundredth time!) the spyware from my computer. However, when I scan for it and remove it, this is the information Spybot provides:

DSO Exploit

Data source object exploit

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Inter net Settings\Zones\0\1004!=W=3

Data source object exploit

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-971929597-1256799619-874574627-1005\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings\Zones\0\1004!=W=3

Data source object exploit

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Inter net Settings\Zones\0\1004!=W=3

Data source object exploit

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-19\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Inter net Settings\Zones\0\1004!=W=3

Data source object exploit

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0\1004!=W=3

Every, single time, it's the same thing. Spybot tells me to go to a website (http://security.greymagic.com/adv/gm001-ie/), but I really didn't see anything helpful (maybe I'm just blind, haha). Yet obviously, this has something to do with my internet settings; one can tell that just from reading the registry keys themselves...so how do I fix that?

Also, just in case it's something to do with my computer, I've saved a HijackThis log (again, this is after I've removed the spyware--I couldn't leave it on here for the log or to write this, because I knew my computer would freeze).

What should I/can I delete safely? The ".spop" thing looks strange to me, as does the "Toolbar: &Radio" thing. Also, I believe in the past (before the System Restore) I removed "ZTgServerSwitch" with no adverse effects. Is it safe to do that again?

Some other questions (sorry for being so curious!):

Will this DSO Exploit end if I just begin using Firefox? Is it just an IE error?

Why didn't I get this exploit before the System Restore? Am I missing an update?

Thanks so much to anyone who's read this far down! I know it was a lot to take in, but I really could use some help! I'm so tired of restarting my laptop, and I haven't even gotten to put any of my actual files--save needed software--back on!

Thanks again.

Try this

Disconnect your internet, reboot your computer (you don't have to go into safemode to do this just boot normally), run Spybot. Go into the registry by going to the start menu then run, type in the word regedit and hit the OK button. Now locate one by one all the registy entries that Spybot said it found the DSO exploit in. Rename the 1004 files to 1003 then exit regedit. Shut down your computer. Plug your computer back into the internet, and restart your computer. Run Spybot again and you will see it is no longer there. Congratulations it gone. pretty simple huh?

HighJack this looks clean to me .
