graphics card problem

I had a virus on my computer, had it restored to original state and now I think I have a problem with the graphics card. I have my computer set up so that I can play movies and view through TV. Since having viruses removed I am getting message on my TV" unsupprted video signal" I have been told that this is because I now have a problem with my graphics card. Does anyone have any advice on what I need to do?

Do you have a flag by your video card in device manager? You may just need to update the driver. Go to your computer brand web site under support & see if there is a driver for your card..

Try reinstalling the driver anyway. It could be just corrupt.
