QuickBook pro 2005

I backed up my files to a CD and now I can't open it, to make sure what's on the disc. Anyone have any ideas. I used the quickbooks back and saved to hard drive and then copied to disc. It's a .qqb file and not a .qqw file . Sure would like to be able to check what's on the disc before needing it and finding out not everything is their. Please help ...thanks james

So, you are sying that when you try to browse the files on the CD, you don't see anything? Are you getting any error messages? What method did you use to transfer the files to the CD?

I'm not getting anything it doesn't pull up the file nor does it give me an error. I used quickbook pro to backup to hard drive on the desktop, and used Roxio to burn to CD. I think it has to do with being a .QBB file instead of a .QBW file.

With the CD in the drive, you should be able to use Windows Explorer to view the files. If you can see the .QBB file, then you should be able to use the QuickBooks restore feature to restore the company data and access it.
