Question What do you willingly pay for that others think is extravagant?

I guess when m-ms were first changed to SKIM MILK/MILKFAT and i was going from store to store buying $50 or more of all older original m-ms i could find my mom/dad thought was a bit excessive i guess........ (I also did the same when hershey bars were changed from SOYA LECITHIN to SOY LECITHIN and now taste like crap!!)

I'm always the one who thinks everything is extravagant.
If old enough to remember nickel and dime candy, $.25 movie shows, brand new Corvette $5000, then maybe you can imagine where I'm coming from.

I like the 1996 vintage Cristal champagne. It is a tad pricey, tho.

Dude, ever thought of seeing someone about compulsive behaviour?

Seriously, my one extravagance is my motorbike. I know it's pretty extravagant spending more on a toy than on a family car (don't even start on running costs!) but OMG, it's seventh heaven when I'm tearing over the mountain tops in the early morning sun in high summer. Just me and a blur of undulating winding tarmac. Hard to top that.

People think I'm a lazy git for paying the curryshop extra for delivering the curry.
Admittedly it's only a hundred yards round the corner but it saves having to put me shoes on. he he

That's a wise investment. It is always best to stay close to the wc when dealing with curry.

Two keema-nan, a dansac, 1 phal, 2 pilau rice and a roll of chilled bogroll please. 10 minutes? No problem.

My Harley...had it long before they became popular again. Still a lot of people think it's extravagant.
