No Driver support for Sapphire 512MB HD 3450 AGP

Hello All,

I bought a Sapphire ATI Radeon 512MB HD 3450 AGP Graphics Card for my son's computer only to find out the driver does not work on Windows 7. I have tried downloading the latest drivers from ATI Radeon but it still does not work. I also tried the ATi Catalyst hotfix and still no good. I tried using the DVI and HDMI connections but once again no difference. I also tried manually installing just the driver and still a failure.

I have searched most forums if not all but it seems no one has the answer. Funny thing is the old Sapphire ATI Radeon 256mb AGP card works with windows 7 with Aero but this new one does not.

Below are some specs;

CPU: P4 3.4Ghz HT
Motherboard: ASUS p4p800 SE
RAM: 4gb dual channel (only 3gb usable)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

Old Graphics card: Sapphire Radeon 256MB 9600Series AGP
New Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon 512MB HD 3450 HDMI AGP

I also used different HDMI cables but it all boils down to the driver which I cannot find one which works.

I also update everything that could be updated for the whole system, BIOS, Motherboard, etc.

Can someone please point me to the right direction and help me out because my son and myself are getting frustrated, thinking we blew $105.00AU for nothing.

Thanks in advance.

Hi rta007. I can see your topic has had lots of views but no-one has been able to help you. I'm afraid I dont know the answer either and can only suggest that you contact Sapphire Tech support and talk to them about this issue.
