Question windows updates error

I keep getting error 646 when trying to install office updates does anyone know the soloution to this.

Hi hollyoaks777. Have you tried to download the updates and install them manually?

i downloaded service pack 2 manually but when i goto word powerpoint etc it takes me back to original update page

I'm not quite sure what you mean hollyoaks777. Can you elaborate and also tell me what update you are trying to install.

microsoft office 2007 enterprise updates as follows AnnMarie microsoft office 2007(KB951550), outlook (KB972363), visio (KB957831), Word (KB969604), microsoft ofice system (KB954326, KB969559,KB972581,KB974234) any suggestions welcome thank you in advance

Lot's of people are having problems with these updates hollyoaks777. One person found a solution to his problem here. If you have tried these steps and still encounter the same issue, you should lodge a free Windows Update support incident request here.

how did you get to that bit of the form i would have been omto them ages ago if knew that as my word 2007 is only showing 2 paper sizes A4 and letter.

Just click on the link I originally posted and follow the instructions. Windows Update support is free hollyoaks777 but that doesnt apply to issues with Office. You would have to pay for that.
