making a window minimize and hide to system tray when it opens

ok i posted yesterday about making a batch file, now im interested i knowing how to make the program i want (its a ms dos window) i have it hidden when it opens by making the window smaller and putting it in the upper corner... but in my start menu it still shows up.. is there a way for that not to show up? i wwant it to be open, but no trace of it being open... is this possible?
