backup

Hello Folks. I recently brought a 500gb external hard drive for the laptop win7 but I am constantly being asked to backup the system despite having already done so is this a quirk of 7 or do I need to back it up again?.

Hi Bexboy. How often did you schedule a backup when you set it up? You can change how often you want to backup your files in the Backup and Restore Center. See here.

Hello AnnMarie. I have got the young fella from up stairs to have a look at the machine the external hard was not registering so he plugged it into the computer proper thats solved that he then switched off the remind prompt which kept giving me the willies I know I have 500gb's but they would'nt last long after backing up every 7 days.
Thanks Again .
bob.
