Oh! come off it, now you are being silly, surely there is some place you have visited that you could post?
Aden, Yemen. I visited there as a 9 year-old on a migrant ship, it hadn't rained there for the preceding 7 years, and from the BO, I think that was the last time some of the locals had a shower. |

No to Yemen
Brindisi, Italy, to catch the car ferry to Greece. One of those ferries had sunk the year before so my traveling companion refused to even remove her coat or set down her purse before climbing into her bunk for the overnight trip. The ferry didn't sink. |

No, no burgers of any kind recently:-
Barstow, California, USA where I had my first McDonalds Burger back in 1979. Two bus loads of us arrived at the McDonalds and within 5 minutes we had all received our orders, I was impressed, never seen such fast food before. Last edited by Ned Seagoon; December 20th, 2021 at 06:43 PM. |

No to Barstow
Malaga, Spain - I was one of the wives following our husbands' ship around the Mediterranean. It was the first time in decades an American aircraft carrier had visited Malaga. There was a Woolworth's there and that it served American-style breakfasts. We ate there every morning. This was in the days before there were McDonald's in Europe so we all really missed the food we were used to. |

Yes, I was in Granada but only overnight on my way back to Barcelona. I took trains, buses and planes to, in and out of Spain to the point where I don't remember all the places I've been in that country. I do remember that the Spanish people were the most hospitable of all the Mediterranean coastal countries I visited.
