Smile how to pin printer to taskbar at bottom.

I am trying to pin my printer to my system tray and I see no option to do so.

Thanks!

Go To "Start." and then "Control Panel" "Devices and Printers."
Right-click the icon for your printer. Click "Create Shortcut." ...
Right-click the new shortcut icon for your printer.
Click "Pin to Task Bar" to add that printer icon to your Windows task bar.

As far as I can tell, there is no way to put an individual device directly on the Win7/8/10 taskbar. The best you can do is a shortcut to the Devices and Printers as shown here.

An alternative is to create a custom toolbar with the shortcut to your printer.

Step by step:
1. Open Devices and Printers
2. Right Click your printer and "Create Shortcut"
3. Create a new toolbar folder - Open Windows Explorer and browse to a location you want to store the actual shortcuts (e.g. your Documents). Right Click and Create New Folder.
4. Name the folder something useful (e.g. Taskbar Shortcuts)
5. Drag the shortcut to the printer from your desktop into this new folder
6. Right Click the taskbar and select Toolbars > New toolbar...
7. Browse to your newly created folder and select it as your new toolbar folder.
8. Customise the new toolbar - right click in the new toolbar and un-check "Show Title" and un-check "Show Text" and change the icon size to the same as your other taskbar icons.
9. Done (see screenshot)
