Clean up
Hi All,
I have a friend who's Vista computer is running really slowly and he wishes to re-install Windows and its associated programs. I have advised him to save his documents and settings and application data to a seperate H/D in order for him to save his settings and emails etc. Does he need to do anything else? Is it a trivial matter to paste the data back into the new install?? |

He can do that with his pics, music and documents Jaytee but not the application data. Vista has backup software (see here) or he can use 3rd party software like Karens Replicator which is really easy to use.
His email and contacts need to be treated differently though. See here. |
