This is really nice........ If it lasts,alot of people will be able to update thier favourite os's,etc.....

Seems like a great way to infect your computer with a stack of malware. I wouldn't touch the place.

You may be right, but my concern is twofold, the user needs to give permission for an update to be installed, which circumvents the inbuilt protection which stops malware installation, coupled with the fact that the site is a community based resource which allows anyone to upload a claimed update which in actual fact may be malware.
That said I'm not aware what checks and balances the site has to screen updates before they are made publicly available. It is possible that the site has experts on-hand who weed out suspect "updates" before they can do any harm.

I keep Windows 7 on a partition on my PC. I've also gotten error code 80072EFE but fixed it with what I got from here: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft...px?q=KB3138612
