Angry Peachtree Accounting ... not so peachy and not counting....

I have Peachtree Complete Accounting 2008 -- Used it one Sat. morning - closed it out - tried to open a few hours later and it says that the maximum # of allowed users are logged in (single user edition) please restart after they have logged off.....

I am the only user -- not password protected --- task manager does not show it running...

Can anyone help -- my two alternatives now are Geek Squad or delete program and start 2007 over again.... tax time loometh!

are you sure you're using the same username that you used that one sat. morning? If you miss typed it, that'll happen.

I have had this message also. I reboot and it works fine. I think it has something to do with not exiting the program properly, or a temp file did not get deleted.

I've run across this before also. I had to end up calling tech support and I don't remember what we had to do. I absolutely despise anything that SAGE software creates. Their tech support is also horrendous.
