How can i do this??????

hi, i have an older computer that came with 98 se installed on it and a 40g hard drive, when xp came along i was more familiar using 98, so i added another hard drive 80g and installed xp on that drive. i set up a dual boot using acronis partion and boot manager.........works great. Problem now it that i only use xp now and my 2nd drive is full, i have been using the available extra space on my 40g drive for backup. I have a new 250g drive but have no cable connections to install a 3rd drive.........so how can i save my stuff on the two drives 40 and 80g without formating them and removing the 40g to replace with the 250g.............i am sure someone knows of an easy way to do this........

thanks

You can get external hardware to plug you're 250GB into then access it via USB and use that to transfure you're files, then replace the 40GB with you're 250GB

You could also buy a set of CDs or DVDs but thats a lot of hastle.

If you are using IDE drives, you can also disconnect the CD drive,
connect the 250 and use acronis to clone the 40 to the 250.
Then swap them and hook the CD back up.
