I can't believe this company name .....

isn't I wind up.

The story so far, there I am reading my Independant, watching Captain Scarlett on Ministry of Mayhem. Out of the colour supplement (wicked picture quiz at the back and a usually tough quiz set by Jeremy Beadle) pops the Haversack catalogue. Full of overpriced tat really.

As I flick through, I see this map item. Being a sado who likes maps, read the bumph. Couldn't beleive they managed to slip a company name like that in there for a map related issue. Funniest company name I've seen all year. Mind you, it took about four re-reads before it sunk in.

Here it is

Wasn't there an 'infamous' Indian tribe by the same name?

Well the company name is Fugawi maps.

It's the old joke about the Fugawi tribe. Four foot pigmies who lived in the 5 ft tall savanah grass.
Could always be spotted by their strange tribal jumping and call of "where the ......"

This is the company site....

thanks Zipulrich , I was begining to think I was the only person who had ever heard it.

Nearly spilled my cornflakes when I read it in the catalogue.

Love learning new things. I like that: "Could always be spotted by their strange tribal jumping and call of "where the fk am I?" Move to shorter grass.
