Mishy - Yeah normal place names are far too boring but i'd rather live in Whakacrappa(or whatever) than Wales. I don't care how wierd thier names are thier weather is still as bad as it is here. At least you get funny names and great weather.

Your not serious about the Gore/Clinton thing are ya?

Welsh place names are easy ya just bang a load of letters together than stick agogogo on the end.

Carol - I went down stairs once to got to answer a call of nature(being posh ya see ) and i missed an email. Now i've drilled a hole in the floor i have no more worries.

I'm told that the view from the living room window just shows an over grown garden(ours) and the dull looking house oppissite.(hmmm spellings gone again:mad

Buzz - I thought ya where in the nick.(gaol)

I'm pretty sure Emu's eat people. I'm sure they have to build a nice roasting fire & drink a few beers first, but, yeah, I believe they would eat you if they get the chance.

Well it is daylight now, and all I can see are lots of houses, a few trees, telegraph poles, and a lot of cars whizzing up and down!!!!

Hey Buzz, if you are in a straight jacket and behind bars, who'd want to visit you anyway????
Dave.

Buzz, how long have you been "inside"? Do they ever let you out for air? And is the straight jacket a permanent fixture, if so how do you eat?
Dave.

Well I guess its my turn to describe the view from my front window.

Our house sets up on a hill and we overlook scenery that is beautiful at all times of the year. There is a farm of over 300 acres of rolling hills with a big barn setting all by itself. Its all meadow used for hay for the cows scattered all about.

There is a river that meanders between the hills that usually has geese swimming on it.
In between all these meadows stands one hugh tree with a small family cemetary under it.

That is not my property, I also see about 2 acres of our front yard with some pine trees, dog wood and maple trees. And lots of grass to mow!!

Any evening you can count the deer in the meadow and we have had as many as 64 wild turkeys in our yard at one time. There are no houses in view. Just blue sky with big white puff clouds...For years now, West Virginia has been know as "almost heaven".

As far as an emu.. i do believe they eat anything they can reach..and they are UGLY>

Buzz, i have hundreds of old Country Living magazines that I have saved and ide be glad to send ya some?...
