Missing file help needed
Im trying to install an external harddrive to my pc and I am getting a message USBNTMAP.SYS file is missing. Where do I find this??? I have windows ME on a Dell 1.5, 256, 60 gb h drive.

Hi Crazy Horse,
I hesitate to post this link because I have no way of checking this file for proper version. It is strictly "use at your own risk" stuff. I just did a Google search and turned up this link. I would first try getting it from your WinME CD. If it isn't there, then you can try this one. http://www.usbman.com/WebDrivers/WinMe%20Sys%20Files/ It is one of four files on the page. Be sure to grab the correct one. |
