Probably a Filter issue, depending on which version of Windows you are using, get into the registry and delete the Upper and Lower filters.
Windows XP; 1. Start | Run 2. Type regedit (hit <enter>) 3. Clicking on the + signs navigate to the following key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class 4. Expand it and find; {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} 5. In the results that appear on the window on the right, locate the UpperFilters and LowerFilters values 6. Right-click on UpperFilters and choose Delete 7. Same for LowerFilters if present 8. Close and reboot Windows Vista; 1. Start type in the search regedit, then click regedit in the program list 2. Find the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} Windows 7; 1. Start type in the search box regedit 2. Locate the following key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} |
