Question Problems with Internet Explorer 6 in XP

Hello, many times pages does not display right in IE6 or Firefox 3.6.3

e.g. Gmail does not display colors, like it lacks styles. Or font size gets larger.

I have Opera and no problems with it but strangely both IE and FF have this problem. It corrects after some time when I reload the webpage.

Also, .chm files do dot display right when this happens.
What can be the problem?

I use Win XP SP2

Thanks

I really hate to be the one to tell you, but you'll probably have to update to IE7 or 8.
Yahoo wouldn't even let me get my email until I updated to 8.
I was completely happy with IE6 and I don't like IE8, but was forced kicking and screaming to update to it because so many sites no longer support IE6.
It's a friggin Microsoft conspiracy if you ask me. And I've never liked any version of Firefox.

I installed IE7 and the problem continued.

I uninstalled IE7 and back to IE6.

I've never used Opera. But do you have a "connect directly" feature on Opera that will bypass IE6 settings? It might be on the "tools" or "proxy" drop-down list.
