I've had this really annoying and difficult issue that I cannot figure out. My computer will not boot up after sitting overnight. When I press the power button the power comes on but nothing happens. I have to press the reset button after waiting for a few moments and then the computer will boot up. I tried replacing my video card and my powersupply to no avail. I have no clue what could be causing this odd problem. Any ideas?

Hi,
Yes, I did replace the CMOS battery...actually I thought that was the original problem. What in the CMOS could cause my computer not to boot on a cold boot? Power settings or something? Nathan |
