Shockwave Flash and XP

I want to send a small .swf video to a distant relative - they have WindowsXP Home. I remember downloading the shockwave flash s/w when I first installed WinXP. I have been told though, that WinXP actually includes the swf program - is this correct? I don't remember this being the case. If this is true, then I don't have to bother my relative with details as to how he can download shockwave flash. Thanks.

I don't think it does, unless the PC Manufacturer added it.

Shouldn't be too hard to install

I appreciate it is simple to install - having done so myself a couple of times - but the recipient of my video may have a leetle difficulty doing so Thanks.

Check out this program. You can use it to convert the file to an avi or mpg and send it that way and they'll be able to play it in WMP. No install or anything else for them. If you don't like this program, there's tons of them out there that will do so....

Google it!
