am i screwed ?

hi
i tried to install my new mobo today and i wanted to test it
it was fine on the first try but when i changed around the light leads from my caseto the mobo there was an explosion... im not sure if my power exploded or my mobo got damaged too ??? what caused this problem ?
was it the leads ?
if it was can u tell me how to align them properly

what light leads do u mean,the front panel lights,hdd led,power on led reboot led.most led plugs have id on them,front panel hdd led to hdd led mobo,etc
go thru ur motherboard manul and check out front panel led setup
IMO,could of shorted out the psu ,do have a ATX power supply tester to test psu or another psu to install and connect the led wires according to manual
smell the psu is there an ozone odor,burnt wires,look for burn marks around led area and power suppy socket,do a total inspection on the motherboard
name and model # of motherboard
DOUBLE POSTING can lead too a bit of confusion in the right answers

i have an asus p4s800 mobo
and yes these was a smell coming from the psu
my mobo wasnt hot or any smell coming from it at all

and btw i know they have id on them but im just not sure if the leads are oriented in the right way (pos. to neg.)
