What causes Reboot Loop

i;ve notice alot of reboot looping problems lately on the forum, what are the causes,is it sasser ,msblast, system failure errors,Lsass service, heat, etc.has any of these problems been repaired.I know auto restart deals w/minor failure errors and fixes them, but if the real serious errors occur on regular basis, might encounter reboot loop. i ve done my research and my question is, Why is reboot loop affecting so many computers lately?
