Favourites

Only recently have I discovered( using Internet Explorer8) that after adding a new favourite to my list the web page decides to vanish if I use this on two occasions.
I can add the Google web site and it shows up in Favourites. If I click on it it will go immediately to the website. If I go on the same logo the next day then by the third day it will have removed itself from the list of Favourites.
Then the favourites decide to form a new order putting things that were in alphabetical order all over the place.
Any ideas?

Have you tried reinstalling the browser?

Make sure to backup your favorites, either to a flash drive or to the your desktop. Go to file import/export to backup your favorites.

Seems to have reinstalled o.k.
Just wait a few days now to see if it insists in losing these favourites and whether it has a mind to scramble the alphabetical order they were in.
Let you know in a day or two.
Thanks for the reply

Tried the reinstalling which it allowed and now tells me that the IE8cannot be uninstalled further.
The sams thing is happening again - find the website, click on Favourites, add to Favourites - o.k. - then after using this Favourite means of getting on the website it decides to delete the Favourite attachment from the list!Find the website again and add to Favourites again!
Frustrating not knowing why it has decided to do this.

When this first started happening did this happen after you installed IE8? Or did it come on all of a sudden?

I downloaded CCleaner some time ago and each time I finish on the internet I clean all my Files and cookies.
I keep the most up to date installations available regarding Windows.
You may have given me a thought to try and NOT clean all my files and sites I visit straight after to see if this may help - thanks.

We can try that.

I am running out or ideas, unless you want to upgrade to ie9 and see how that goes. I've been running ie9 for a while, it's been running fine for me.

I did so some more google searches regarding you issue, some people have had this issue and had to change something in the regestry, but I'm not too femiliar with making changes in that. So if that is the case someone else here will have to walk you through that.
