this pc is killin me

[Yme]

recently went haywire.I am the administrater account & 2 family members are the other 2 user accounts.I'm getting access violation oxc0000022 error which affects about 10 differant programs when starting up on all the accounts.I ran mcAffe full scan no viruses.Control panel not working properly;tried uninstall programs & add or delete user accounts & couldn't get in(sometimes says don't have permission).also tried system restore(wouldn't work)& boot from os cd then repair windows(no problem found).I was going to try driver sweeper but no joy there either.So i've pretty much tried everything I know except to reformat & clean install os again.Need help please.

Hi Yme and welcome. It might be useful to see some logs of what is running on your computer. Go here and download DDS to your Desktop and doubleclick on DDS.scr to run it. When the scan has finished, two logs will open. Copy and paste both reports in this topic. The logs will be reasonably large so you may have to divide them into sections and make several posts to post them.

I am sorry Yme but there are no clues in either log. It looks like you dont have any restore points and there are no events recorded in event viewer.

I do see that you have three registry cleaners installed and it's possible that one of them has corrupted your registry but with no restore points, the only way to fix this is to back up your backup your data and do a clean install.
