HELP ASAP! Need pc for online classes; Vista stuck, won't load!
Please help as soon as possible.
My sister-in-law is taking college classes online, and her pc has not been accessible since Sunday. The screen gets to the point of where the scroll lines are going through the rectangular box at the bottom of the screen. It hangs there and will go no farther. She can get into safe mode, but cannot get online. She has uninstalled several programs that she thought may be causing the problem, and tried to uninstall others, but some wouldn't uninstall. She did a system restore to last known good configuration with no luck. Any ideas?? Her classes are entirely online. Her grades suffer if she can't login to her classes on time.

Have you tried a startup repair using the Vista DVD?
