Transfer Problems

I resently transfer files from one hard drive to another and wiped that hard drive clean when I go to search for a file it shows that that those files are on my E drive and I don't have an e drive with anything on it because I wiped it clean. Where are these files? I am using Windows Vista. Thanks for any help that anyone can give.

I actually used the drag and drop method from old hard drive to new hard drive and then wiped hard drive clean with D Ban.

Since AnnMarie's not online, I'll see if I can help.

To open Windows Explorer, click on Start>All Programs>Accessories and click on the shortcut to Windows Explorer. It's just another way to view the contents of the drives, like My Computer only with things arranged a little differently.
