Shutoff+Overheat

I don't know why but my PC seems be all of a sudden shutting off when it feels, I also notice that the heat under the hard drive section has start to become rather hotter than usual. Can someone let me know soultions to this please?

are you running off the battery or pwer cord? if battery then your battery is going bad casinf the system to over heat
