Question Installing Programes

I recently purchased a new computer with windows vista home premium pre-installed. I just would like to know if I can re-install my software that was previously running on windows xp media centre edition. My scanner software would not install and rather than try every program, I thought I would ask the experts. Thanks.....SP

The majority of them will. If you come across problems, try using compatibility mode. Right click the program you are running/installing and select properties then the compatibility tab. Check the box that says "Run program with compatibility with:" then select Windows XP SP2 from the drop down list.

If you still have problems, post back here with the program you are having problems with and we will help you from there.
