Hi fafafabio,

First thing you want to do is remove the attempted driver from
Device Manager
shut down
reseat the card (wiggle it back n' forth as you push it in)
make sure it's seated...triple check it
reboot

Exclamation Mark - the device is conflicting with another device.
Question Mark - An unknown device
Red X - The device has been disabled, removed, or WindowsXX is unable to locate the device.

p.s. I tried to use yellow color but you can't see it on a white background
so that's why the blue.

Thanks, That worked for the card itself, but now it will not connect through my router. I usually go to 192.168.1.1 to set it up, but it gives me a page not found error. This ethernet card is a Kingston that was provided to me from DSL and it worked just fine in the computer i am currently using, but the new one has a built in ethernet so I didn't need it. The router is a Linksys BEFSR41 and my other computers are working fine and I don't think it is the actual cable either, I had just swapped em. Thanks

Steve
