Unhappy Temp Internet files

I have a new Acer laptop running Vista Home Premium and AOL 9vr. With XP I could rt click on AOL icon choose system information/utilities and delete my temporary internet files. With Vista, if I do this it also deletes all my passwords which are a pain to have to re-enter.
Is there a way to dump ONLY my temp int files and leave passwords in place?

Thanks
Nancy

First, I've not used Vista w/ AOL, so cannot comment on whether there might be a 'work around' w/i these programs, but appears that the option used is 'cleaning out' your temp internet files & cookies (not sure about 'history). You can use Disk Cleanup (assume that is still available in Vista?) - on my XP systems, I just right click on the hard drive icon & select properties - the program is an option; of course, there are other programs on the web that can be use - good luck.

I knew there had to be another way to accomplish what I wanted to do. That worked. Thanks so much.

Glad that worked for you! Plus, explore the other choices in 'Disk Cleanup' - can really restore a lot of disk space for you -
