Driver help

I running a Dell optiplex 745 with Vista Business.. I have a flag on the Adaptec 7870 pci scsi controller. For the life of me I can't find what driver to download from the dell site.. What is that device used for and can I just let it go with out any impact on my unit? I will be thankful for any help..

I would not worry about if its not affecting your computer usage. I would think the driver would be included with the chipset download.

The driver which you probably don't use is for a Legacy PCI SCSI Card, who the hell uses them anymore. Unless your doing some emulation of some kind.
Check your BIOS setup maybe its in there and enabled?

Hi ya Folks.. Yeah, it's been a while but I haven't forgot about my old site nor the old timers here.. It's good to see you guys still around...

Thanks fror the info. I just disabled it cause I was getting a pop up..Now all seems well.. Thanks again...
