Vista 32-bit, 3.25 GB Ram Limit
Hello,
I know my 32-bit Vista Ultimate system allows using only about 3.25 GB of the 4GB Ram that is installed. This is a known issue. However, I had sworn recently my system shoed the full 4GB was being used, but after a recent OS reinstall, it lists only the 3.25GB Ram. Is this correct? Or in my previous case, had a driver update or OS patch been installed that I am now missing? Obviously I should've paid more attention. Thanks! Scott |

Answer is:
Since Vista SP1, windows lists the installed memory. So before SP1, computer lists 3.25 GB..after 4.00. Function is the same. Got answer from another thread. Scott |
