Tablet Feezing

Hi, I have a Samsung tablet 4. Every time I turn it on, it freezes after loading. I then have to manually shut it down, and it restarts by itself. After that it works properly. Do you know why it's doing that? I cleaned out cachet, pics, videos etc. to make room. I loaded a lot of stuff on the SD card to make space. Please help.

Have you tried a "factory reset"?

that is an old tablet - released around 2014. If you had it that long, then most likely you could be experiencing hardware failure and may be time for a new one if the previous suggestion about doing a restore does not help.

Sorry it took so long to reply to you. I never received an email about my post. I just did a factory restore, and I'm downloading apps. I got Facebook installed older version. But I need an older messenger download, because the newer messenger won't install. Do you know of a older version. I did it a couple of years ago and it was an older version, but I can't rember. Can you help.

The Big Question is........

Is it still freezing up?

renegade600 may be on to something, in that because of it's age.
The memory may be getting flaky.

I'm running into this issue with my one computer.
I just haven't gotten around to replacing the one bad bank of DDR 2 Memory Sticks yet.

As for repair of your Samsung tablet 4.
Just get what you can off of it, and replace it with a new one.
Unless you want to DIY the repair, but the cost of a replacement Mainboard is going to run as much or more than just getting a new tablet.
