hard drive replacement

Hey,
i have to replace the hard drive on my computer which has its specs listed in my signature. i have another hard drive in another pc which i plan to put in my one with the broken Hard drive. the pc where the replacement hard drive is coming from is very old and has a motherboard from before pentium 1 was made. when i swap the hard drives will there be any problems with the new pc being much better? the replacement hard drive is currently running windows 98 so i know that when i put it in some things such as my sound card(which has a driver on a disk for 98 pcs) won't work. this wont be a problem for long as i will upgrade it to XP very shortly after.

just really want to know about motherboard issues.

Thanks, Jack

(appologies if this report is difficult to understand, im not the master of words)

It should work, I believe XP is the only OS that has problems when you change a HDD from one pc to another. So it should run fine, but you will need to install your motherboards drivers etc.
