Black screen

Hello, I am having a problem with my tablet (Samsung 10") android. When I boot up it loads and instead of it going to desktop it goes black. But the date is there. When I play around with the buttons it finally comes on to desktop.I deleted a lot of pics thinking that that was causing the problem, I have over 4000 pics. Can you help?

1. Press and hold the volume down and power button until the Android System Recovery screen appears.

2. Navigate using volume keys and select using the power key.

3. Select Wipe cache partition and allow to complete.

4. The device should automatically reboot, select the reboot option if it doesn’t.

In the vast majority of cases, this has addressed the black screen issue. This usually indicates an app is causing stability problems. If this is the case for you, begin troubleshooting apps by disabling or uninstalling them until the device works normally again.

Thankyou I will try that. It did it again this morning. But it came on after I pressed the power button a couple of times.

It's a Samsung model SMT530NU, android 5.0.2, knox2.4

thanks - that is a tab s4. surprised the android version has not updated. anyway, see if the following can be of help
