Question New Job: Anchor-linking, Back-linking.

Hey, I'd first like to say thanks for your time to read this.

So I just received a job promotion to office, I moved up from store manager to online administrator and moderator for our companies forums, along with doing their SEO work and orders.

I have a general background in computers and webdesign. However, recently I've been feeling in over my head. Can someone please help me?, I would like to know how to increase our online relativity and presence. I know to reach #1 in google I'll need to have alot of content with relavancy. I was also told I should back-link and anchor-link, what are some good tips?, I still don't quite understand the processes...

Apparently I write an article, toss afew links into it back to a relative page on my site. Then I am to share this article; increasing my links. Where can I post articles without getting banned?. how does this work, please help. Thank you again!.

Hello Zodiac,
This takes time if you want to build back links. Also, if your company has the money to spend for advertising they can invest in Google ads, which will show up on the internet, these are temporary paid links. A cheaper way is continually browsing the net for forums. You can also join forums like you did here. To create back links, add your URL to your profile each time you join a forum. The forums you join should be relative to the link you post in your profile, additionally.. some allow links in your signature. Have you added this to your contact information? ;-)

You can do a search on Google to find places that allow article submissions with links embedded, usually they have strict guidelines to follow, but it takes time....good luck in your new job and adventures! :-)

You are right submitting articles is a great way to get backlinks to your site. Also the benefit of submitting good articles is others will republish them and you will also get a link on that site too. One thing to be careful of is do not submit content you put on your site to article directories as you may be penalised by Google for duplicate content.

The best article submission site is Ezine Articles. You can get dofollow keyword rich backlinks if you add them to your resource box at the end of the article.
