How to Install Ubuntu on W95 OS
Want to uninstall W95 OS & install Ubuntu OS. I need very basic step by step instructions on how carry this process out. With the current W95 OS, it does not allow the installation of Ubuntu.
Can anyone help? |

You will need to wipe the hard drive clean then install Ubuntu. I'm not a Linux guru but I believe if you boot from Ubuntu CD click on 'Install' icon. installer will remove Windows and install Ubuntu. |

Murf is right. You need to put the cd in and restart. Let it run off the Live CD. Once ubuntu is running just click the Install Icon. You can follow the on screen directions which are very easy. You can install it beside win/95 for a dual boot setup or wipe the drive clean and use Ubuntu only.
