Problem solved
I just wanted to say thanks to Strider & degsy for all the help with my problem
A couple weeks ago my computer was fine. My daughter went on the other day and the computer just shut off she said. I thought it may be the power strip or the cord but both are fine. I try to start the computer and it starts to boot but after about 15 seconds it shuts itself off again. I tried tapping f8 f1 and f5 to get in and change certain defaults but it shuts down too quickly. Has anybody else had this problem? Or can you tell me how to fix it? I'm at a total loss at this point and like a dummy I didnt save all my business stuff to disk( i wont EVER make that mistake again)So HEEELLLLLPPP!!!! Thank you IT WAS MY POWER SUPPLY!! iT WAS A FAIRLY QUICK AND EASY FIX. UPGRADED TO A 250W POWER SUPPLY FROM LIKE A 125W. SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH. |
