Vista base scores
My base score is a 4.4 for the RAM score using 1 GB of DDR2. Anyone know what this will bump up to if I upgrade to 2GB?
My other scores were: (from memory, I'm booted up on XP right now) CPU 4.8 RAM 4.4 (Some other one that was related to RAM) 4.4 3d and graphics 4.8 Hard drive (or something) 5.2 |

When I first installed Vista and it started for first time, it went through a step where it determined system performance, so if you go to the Vista Welcome Center (I think it's called, still booted on XP) it will have some system information, if you click see more details it will give you those scores I mentioned, and an overall score (a base score which is your lowest) of your computer's performance. This score is supposed to be used to judge how well you run Aero and what kind of software you can use with Vista
