Computer Slow and loss of hard drive memory
I''m posting this here, even though I'm using Windows 7.
My hard drive is using up a lot more space than it should and I can't seem to find out what the problem is. I've run Advance System Care Pro and a Hijack report was prepared. I should have at least 80 gig free on my hard drive and yet I only have 11. At one point I had 15, then all of a sudden it corrected itself and gave me 50 gig. I don't know if looking at the Hijack report will help, but would appreciate if someone could take a look at it. Thanks: Logfile of Advanced SystemCare 3 Security Analyzer Scan saved at 11:44:04, on 15/09/2009 Platform: Windows Vista (WinNT 6.1) MSIE: Internet Explorer v8.0 (8.0.7100.0) Boot mode: Normal Running processes: C:\Windows\system32\Dwm.exe C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashDisp.exe C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe C:\Program Files\Lexmark 1400 Series\lxdjamon.exe C:\Windows\system32\taskhost.exe C:\Windows\System32\CtHelper.exe C:\Windows\System32\CTXFIHLP.EXE C:\Windows\System32\CTXFISPI.EXE C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\AAWTray.exe C:\Program Files\Norton Ghost\Agent\VProTray.exe C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\E_FATIC FA.EXE C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\BTTray.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Mail\wlmail.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Contacts\wlcomm.exe C:\Windows\system32\DllHost.exe C:\Windows\system32\taskhost.exe C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 3\Awc.exe C:\Windows\system32\NOTEPAD.EXE C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe O2 - BHO: AcroIEHelperStub - {18DF081C-E8AD-4283-A596-FA578C2EBDC3} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroIEHelperShim.dll O2 - BHO: AcroIEHelperStub - {465E08E7-F005-4389-980F-1D8764B3486C} - C:\Program Files\Billeo\billeo.dll O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB} - (no file) O2 - BHO: Search Helper - {6EBF7485-159F-4bff-A14F-B9E3AAC4465B} - C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Search Enhancement Pack\Search Helper\SEPsearchhelperie.dll O2 - BHO: Search Helper - {9030D464-4C02-4ABF-8ECC-5164760863C6} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live\WindowsLiveLogin.dll O2 - BHO: Search Helper - {E15A8DC0-8516-42A1-81EA-DC94EC1ACF10} - C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Toolbar\wltcore.dll O3 - Toolbar: &Windows Live Toolbar - {21FA44EF-376D-4D53-9B0F-8A89D3229068} - C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Toolbar\wltcore.dll O3 - Toolbar: Billeo - {6ADB0F93-1AA5-4BCF-9DF4-CEA689A3C111} - C:\Program Files\Billeo\billeo.dll O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [EPSON Stylus CX9400Fax Series] C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\E_FATIC FA.EXE /FU "C:\Windows\TEMP\E_SA795.tmp" /EF "HKCU" O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [EPSON Stylus CX9400Fax Series (Copie 1)] C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\E_FATIC FA.EXE /FU "C:\Windows\TEMP\E_SB74D.tmp" /EF "HKCU" O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [avast!] "C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashDisp.exe" O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvCplDaemon] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\Windows\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvMediaCenter] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\Windows\system32\NvMcTray.dll,NvTaskbarInit O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lxdjamon] "C:\Program Files\Lexmark 1400 Series\lxdjamon.exe" O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AsioReg] REGSVR32.EXE /S CTASIO.DLL O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CTHelper] CTHELPER.EXE O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CTxfiHlp] CTXFIHLP.EXE O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CtxfiReg] CTXFIREG.EXE O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Adobe Reader Speed Launcher] "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\Reader_sl.exe" O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [LGODDFU] "C:\Program Files\lg_fwupdate\fwupdate.exe" blrun O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Ad-Watch] C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\AAWTray.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Norton Ghost 14.0] "C:\Program Files\Norton Ghost\Agent\VProTray.exe" O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTTask.exe" -atboottime O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [iTunesHelper] "C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe" O9 - Extra button: &Blog This in Windows Live Writer - {219C3416-8CB2-491a-A3C7-D9FCDDC9D600} - O9 - Extra button: Research - {92780B25-18CC-41C8-B9BE-3C9C571A8263} - C:\PROGRA~1\MIF5BA~1\Office12\REFIEBAR.DLL O9 - Extra button: @btrez.dll,-12650 - {CCA281CA-C863-46ef-9331-5C8D4460577F} - C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\btsendto_ie.htm O16 - DPF: {4871A87A-BFDD-4106-8153-FFDE2BAC2967} (DLM Control) - http://dlm.tools.akamai.com/dlmanage...ex-2.2.5.1.cab O16 - DPF: {D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000} - http://fpdownload2.macromedia.com/ge...sh/swflash.cab O23 - Service: Apple Mobile Device - Apple Inc. - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\AppleMobileDeviceService.exe O23 - Service: avast! iAVS4 Control Service (aswUpdSv) - ALWIL Software - C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\aswUpdSv.exe O23 - Service: avast! We cant help with beta software Terpi. What you are experiencing may be a reported (and fixed) bug. I have W7 RTM installed and have no such problem.
Microsoft created a special forum for beta users and I found someone else with a similar problem here. You could register and ask if that person found a solution for their problem. |
