Error Starting Program--PSAPI.Dll not found

Upon completion of booting up, the following error message appears:

Error Starting Program

A required .DLL file, PSAPI.DLL is not found.

I am relatively new to computers.

1)Could you tell me of an online site where I can locate this file.

2)The sequence of steps in downloading the file, and
how to install it in my computer.

Microsoft Windows Me 4.90.3000

Authentic AMD
AMD Athlon™Processor
512MB RAM
1600MHz

Hi i am not really sure what that file does but i run me and i do not have it on my system did u install something just before this happened or uninstall

You may have been hijacked... That .dll is associated some parasites.

Download 'Hijack This!'. Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".
When the scan is finished, click "Save Log", and copy and paste it in a reply.
