Interner Explorer 6.0

When I click on the blue E to open Explorer, nothing happens. I tried repairing it, but that didn't help. I have to go in through my favorites.
Any ideas?

Are you talking about the blue E on your desktop or on the start menu?

Both. Neither will open Explorer.

Run Spybot on your computer. Too much spyware can cause that and Spybot will
kill spyware. Don't forget to update it first before you scan.
Download Spybot here

I run Spybot almost every day. I updated it and ran it again, didn't help.

Ok, no reply I assume that means no...

Right-click the "blue e" (doesn't matter which one...desktop or start menu) and select
Properties
there is a slot right at the bottom, it probably says "Minimized" change it to "Normal"

Could you right click on that> Choose properties> sopy (not cut) and paste the target line here...also if there is a "start in" line with something in it post it here.

Oh we're not done yet, we have a few things left to try.
  1. Put your Windows XP CD in
    reboot
    choose repair
    type chkdsk /r
  2. Put your Windows XP CD in
    reboot
    choose repair
    type sfc /scannow

If those fail post back and we'll try more.
