I tried deleting it manually, with adding/removing programs, and also downloaded revo uninstall so that i could remove traces of the program. It's still there, however, when I open up my browser. Revo uninstall said it was all deleted, that traces were deleted, but it's still there when I open up chrome.

1.Click the at the top of your browser window to open the New Tab page.
2.Go to the Apps section.
3.Drag the app into the Remove from Chrome button at the lower right corner. You can also right-click on the app icon itself and select Remove from Chrome.
4.The app’s icon is removed from the New Tab page.

If that doesn't work, then it may be an extension rather than an app, in which case you will have to delete it thisway

Yes. thepiratebay.se

Search for 2010 office activator. My computer guy who installed word on my machine told me to go there to download the activator. I did that and got the VPN issue.

Hello heathbinder and Network&secur,

Assumed one of the approved helpers was replying here, so didn't catch this conversation until now. Network&secur, be sure to review the info here on who can reply to threads posted in this forum. Thanks.

heathbinder, since you were trying to download/install 2010 office activator, I would have to assume you were trying to use illegally a copy of MS Office. Since CTH does not provide assistance when illegal software use is known, unless you have a different explanation, I will need to just close this thread.
